This month, the guest speaker in Honduras was Pastor Tim Herman. He taught on the Biblical Principles of Money Management. This is a key teaching for everyone, but especially the Honduran people. Abject poverty is very prevalent in the nation, and in order to survive, people unknowingly, have developed habits that run contrary to the Word of God.
Pastor Tim taught about money management from 3 perspectives - 1) God's view of money, 2) The Church's view of money, and 3) An individual's view of money. He challenged the Hondurans to rise up & become the lender not the borrower, to support other nations, & do something with the talents that have been given to them.
Over 100 students came forward for prayer on Saturday and he has conducted many individual counseling sessions. On Sunday there was a record number in attendance at the church were he was teaching - over 2400. All glory to God - chains are being broken off the Honduran people. Hallelujah!
